Our team's attorney's are lead by W. Calvin "Cal" Bomar, a former IRS Office of Chief Counsel lawyer who has extensive experience in tax litigation, audits, obtaining IRS tax relief through offer in compromise, installment agreements, penalty abatement, liens, levy and representing clients in all other tax matters. Under Cal's daily direction, our firm represents clients throughout the nation in tax, estate planning and asset protection matters.

Our tax team also includes Larry Carnes, who served as an IRS Revenue Officer for 28 years.

Calvin Bomar holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, and previously worked as tax counsel for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in Washington, D.C.

He advises both businesses and individuals in tax planning and tax controversies. He handles IRS disputes, administrative hearings and litigation before the United States Tax Court and U.S. District Courts. He also provides clients with advanced strategies in estate planning, trusts and asset protection, and is an experienced business law and nonprofit organization lawyer.

After leaving IRS Chief Counsel, Mr. Bomar worked at a large firm for several years, and then co-founded Bomar & Phipps, LLC.
